Predictions

 I predicted you

On a balmy night

I sat composed

I shut my eyes tight

Feeling the orbit of my soul

Hit a star

My prayer brushed the moon

And soon

I had a promise

Resting in my heart

I was so tired of being weary

And jagged

I felt my aspiration

Sweep over me in

One hypnotic stroke

I didn’t know the distance

I didn’t care

I knew you were there somewhere

And with velvet reigns

You soon gallivanted through

With a perpetual sensation

You predicted me too
