Through the course of the day
We leaned into midnight
Hushed pleasingly with its sight
The sound of skating
Is through our thoughts
The ornament of each spin
Curves our backs – Statuesque
And then we lied, to rest
But as I was almost sleeping
Untying a satin dream
I turned to see a suggestion
You smirked – a soundless mention
I closed my eyes, tired, dismissing
But what – with your strong convincing
Your romance is not to fend
And so, to blush
I bend
